Chinno is a Richmond, Virginia born recording artist, producer, and entrepreneur whose journey into music has been defined by resilience, reinvention, and an unwavering commitment to growth. After a career ending pneumothorax redirected his path from basketball, he turned adversity into purpose, building a foundation in music through raw expression, sharp freestyling, and authentic storytelling. His debut project, The Land of Chinno, surpassed 100,000 streams on Spotify, while standout visuals like “Proceed” and his viral collaboration “JetBluee” helped expand his reach and establish his presence as an independent artist.

As his visibility grew, Chinno secured a marketing deal with Universal Music Group, positioning him for a major breakthrough before the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the rollout. Determined to take control of his future, he immersed himself in the craft and business of music interning at recording studios before studying audio engineering and music business at SAE Institute in New York. He later founded Chinno Wave Productions, allowing him to operate as a fully independent creator while expanding into fashion, modeling, and film.

Now entering a new chapter, Chinno is pioneering what he calls “clean trap music” a high energy, culture driven sound that maintains the intensity of trap while removing profanity. His upcoming release, “Big Bubbles, Little Ice,” marks the beginning of this evolution. Through music, business, and culture, Chinno continues to build a brand rooted in authenticity, discipline, and ownership, with a mission to elevate the sound and redefine what modern hip-hop can represent.
